I want to create a file of conventional frequencies in my Butel ARC500 for
my GRE PSR-500 of exclusively federal VHF and UHF frequencies from 162 to
174 and 406 to 420 mHz. I want to scan them in just the P25 mode with the
SQ Code in the search mode so that when it displays a NAC code I can store
it quickly. It appears as if I can actually store 1852 conventional
frequencies in the GRE. I want to make the best use of the available
memory. I have programmed is sequentially in 12.5 kHz steps. I have
removed 162.3875 to 162.5625 (weather and a channel on either side). I seem
to recall some other "holes" like SCADA in the 170 region. Also, are there
still some holes between 406 and 420 where there simply are no two-way
channels allocated? Or has all of that changed in those bands?
