1. Though considered the Air Force Auxiliary, they're still a group of 
unpaid, unarmed >civilian< volunteers.

2. They have no business being involved in high-risk interdiction and 
"homeland security" missions. Leave that to the pros.

3. They have a duty to report anything out of the ordinary, but so does 
any other civilian. They are however, probably better trained and take 
this responsibillity more seriously.

4. The CAP is essentially a national "neighborhood watch" organization 
with airplanes. Isn't search & rescue their primary mission?

5. The dope dealers and well-funded terrorist orgainzations surely have 
the people in place to get the information and the money to decrypt 
whatever they need. It's just as silly when local cops make an arrest 
and say "Look! These evil people have SCANNERS!" Those "scanners" 
didn't do them any good, did they? They were arrested regardless.

I mean no insult to the fine people involved in this organization. 
Their work is very much apprciated, but let's be realistic.
