I picked up a survaillance a while back on this frequency, simplex and no PL. I could hear the helicopter clearly, but not the ground units. The survaillance was near the LA Zoo. Never found out who that was.

Today, while in Malibu, I picked up the same freq, but with a  PL of  127.3. Malibu is in line of sight and fairly close to Pt Mugu Navy Base.

I think that two different agencies are using the same freq because of the two different PL's.
