I have heard USCG using 167.2500 167.9 on the west coast. Its also an interop channel.

Nice catch, Mac.

Just FYI, the LE-Alpha is one of the federal interoperability  
frequencies that all federal agencies have access to. I knew that the  
Coast Guard had these frequencies in their radios but had not  
encountered any use of them yet.
