[FedCom] Troops Deploy to Border Areas

I'm a scanning enthusiast who under normal conditions would never recommend
a P-25 system that would affect my listening or anyone else' but after
hearing from Maricopa deputies complaining that their movements are
monitored via scanner on the Mexican side and the American side as much as
it hurts to say it I think out of all the different police agencies that
are going P-25 this would be a situation where it makes the most sense to
encrypt.
FYI I live in Sonoma County....I monitor a partial P-25 system (Marin
County) here where they encrypt a few TG's but most of the system is out in
the open. But when I really think about it I'm actually glad that those TG's
are encrypted because there are smart criminals out there and digital
scanners are not hard to find.
