Yes that's what I figured. They refer to these channels as Alpha Gulf or AG and then the channel number. ​

We having been having some great inversion from Lake Erie the past few weeks. On a typical FBI frequency,173.475, in Buffalo I have been getting some RID's and a NAC of 293 which indicates USCG to me.  I have a feeling that this is USCG ?from Ohio o are maybe Detroit. Can anybody down that way confirm this ?
