I think the deal with RadioReference is every TX has to have a location, even if it is a wrong location. Many locations are just the center of the county.
Some time ago I came across a bid request on fbo.gov for tower maintenance at Edwards AFB. It listed the TX site lat/lon. I verified that on Google Earth that at least there was comm gear there. RadioReference decided to keep the locations at the center of the county, roughly Bakersfield. Not even on base!
The problem with crowd sourcing data is someone will "fix" your contribution with the wrong data. Not so much with frequency as much as with TX location.

Well since we have some recent activity here....
Here is one I posted on RR this am, from a recent trip to Atlanta
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=7614
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?siteId=6803
Week long trip to Atlanta and was getting the above Site-006 R9 [Loud and
Clear]
submitted the NAC to get it updated, but the DB says it is in SC, I disagree
the signal was too strong at both the Airport and downtown Atlanta
Any locals with better info to get Site 6 updated
Not enough time to site and see what TG activity there mayhave been.
