Well, I've always favored newsgroups because I'm basically lazy and they
require no effort on my part. 
I guess there's an Oregon discussion group on RadioReference and there's
InterceptNW in the Seattle area but you have to log in, etc., etc.
It's not worth the effort.

But that's just me.

I still enjoy listening to milair. And it's 90% in the clear! 
The Forest Service is still good old analog FM, but their UHF links went
digital/clear some few years ago.
