Actually I started a reply on San Quentin too since it is the only prison I even scanned, but it isn't federal if you want to nitpick. ;-) I should scan Club Fed in Dublin to see if the feds sound different.
San Quentin has a funny body count announcement they make periodically. I can't tell you what it is but it is some sort of formal expressions like "x number of wards of California accounted for". Basically some unnatural expression that comes ou of a rule book.

I was going to add that the same San Quentin Prison trunking system in
Marin County has been in place for *many* years and the only time it's
really active is around the chow time (s).
