Ask a mediocre hobbyist in their late teens...
We were tying cellular, POTS, HF, CB, and business band together, entire
bands, pretty much medium wave to GHz, not just a channel or two, in the
early 90's, with random swap meet crap, and covering half a state, base,
mobile, and pedestrian, just for the f--k of it, because it was stupidly
easy, and practical.
