Chuck, sadly it is a sign of the times with the SD Cards scanners come pre-programmed with.

We can point them to the resources, but they push back of why is it not here, RR Says it is this (true but not for your state)
Where can I listen to, search - spend the time to find out what is used in your Region.

Don't listen to the nay-sayers who say nothing to listen to it's all ENC - find out for yourself.

No, I am not going to give you a copy of my personal logs/database.
I will help you, if you spend the time to learn and educate yourself.

And as I've said on RR more than one, FEDERAL monitoring is not the same as listening to your local PD/FD
And if you wait to navigate those waters only when the Big one hits, you won't know what is Mutual Aid vs what has been in your own back yard for 20+ yrs

Chuck, we do that you for your LONG History with not only the FEDERAL monitoring but Scanning in General.
We now return you to a Happy Independence Day and plenty of FEDERAL Interops in the next few months.

I would like to apologize to the list for a recent series of exchanges with one of the members of this listserv.
The person was seeking help and I jumped in. In the end, it appears he took it off the listserv and lobbed profanities at me in several rounds. This was quite unsettling.
If any of that came across, I apologize. I remained accommodating, even with the words being lobbed at me. I appreciate all the members of this listserv who share information, but as we all know, this isn't a place for someone to come in here and ask for a data dump because of the nature of what we discuss. We all learn by monitoring and on-air always is better than an old list. Right?
Carry on!
Chuck, N2DUP
