SIGINT = Signal Intelligence.

What to log/share would be
Freq - activity (daily, 24/7, surv ops)
PL/DPL/NAC
ENC / CLR

RID (don't always need the complete RID) since you mention DSD+, based on RID's it can/does help determine the actual agency/location
Ie : Marcy posted her Freq/NAC/RID as 301 series, helpful as we know 301xxxx is FBI Albany Field Office series.

I tend to shy away from posting active surv ops and share weeks later my info. (just my preference as is others)

Don't restrict yourself to 165-173

I use
137-144
148-150.8000
162-174 (Locking out the NWS)
380-400
400-420 (most will say, 406-420, but we have documented users, outside of Telem and/or Satelites down in the 400-406 region)

Hope this helps and post/share your VA/GGNRA finds

Marcie,
I mainly a lurker as I don’t have a P25 capable scanner. I do have an SDR Play with dsd+
Most of what I hear is the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. A little VA.
Most of all of the feds are on the Lawrence Livermore system. All of the police is encrypted.
The rest of the guys are pretty hard to find. There’s the VHF system in the upper part of the spectrum. 165-173MHz. I live on the western part of the city near the ocean. Blocked east and north.
BTW What should I report? If you can give me a format I can share what I have.

Thanks
Wayne
