Tom et al,

This is a Western Union Model 100 series, made by Underwood 
(Typewriter Co.). A lot of these machines were dispersed to Hams
in the early 1970's by Western Union. The machine has a 
very simple mechanism and works quite smoothly. The one I had
(long since gone) was a table-top version.

I have a manual for the machine, but the parts list is not too
useful since there is no kown source for parts these days.
There was a Model 15 (Teletype Corp.) variation built into a
very similar cabinets ("the mailbox").
