Gil,
no Problem. The speed can be changed (tuned) by tuning the motor governor,
so 60-cycle should
be no problem operate. The manual says 40 - 60 Hertz (cycle). Maybe it is
also possible to jumper
the motor to 115 volts...but I have never checked it. The power consumption
is about 70 watts, so
a 100 watts transformer would be a good choice.
German machines with (unadjustable) synchronus motors are very rare.
