yes, the universal function bar for the 15 is fairly useless unless you are
in
the sticks and break say your numbers shift bar or something.....then you
just grab one of the universals and break out the tines to match the numbers
shift and you are good to go

I did find a way to use the space character (as done on British 19s) to
detect
MARS protocol of 5 spaces at head of message by having the unshift on space
bar hit a momentary switch run to a counter and latch

My British 19 counts Ns of course, spaces, and for whatever reason, LFs;
all my leaf switches installed on front of vane block...strange those
Brits...like
colour...????   Oh well, at least it works, and the purple ribbons are a
blast
