[GreenKeys] my 28ASR

after many idle years i am starting to revive my 28ASR.
http://home.dal.net/charlesr/28asrint.jpg shows the inside of its case
with the mechanism removed, and several items draw my attention:

I believe it to be a very late production 28ASR and the sound insulation
material (is that its purpose?) was foam rubber except for one piece of
fabric just behind the LXD TD head. The foam rubber was badly decayed
and i removed it, so you will mostly see metal with small bits of foam
where it was glued to the metal.

Notice the ESU with a black Sigma polar relay. The relay has eleven
banana plug type pins. Is this ESU a typical one, and what can amyone
tell me about it?
It is marked WU TEL. CO WIRING CABINET 9797B MADE BY VECTOR ASSOC. There
are no other WU markings anywhere on the machine and i suspect the ESU
is older than the rest of the machine. The ESU has capacitors with what
i think are date codes in 65 and 66. Disregard the red phone plug which
is my addition.

This is a single-speed 28ASR geared for 100WPM.

I would appreciate any comments.
