Andrew,
You do not mention the Model of Teletype machine or the number on the
manual. Based on the instruction manual's date it is most likely a
Signal Corps TG-7B which is a US Army variant of the most popular
Teletype ever made; the Model 15 KSR (Keyboard-Send-Receive). The
item is more valuable if it still has the original chest that the
machine was transported in, which also doubled as a table for the
machine.
There are collectors in the UK that might be interested in collecting
your machine. Since thousands of the Model 15 were produced, and
since so many survive, the value is not great. The most important
aspect is to make sure it is preserved. I am copying the Internet
reflector in the hopes that one of the GREENKEYS members in the UK
will reply to you.
