Due to the recent influx of much old clatter-typers and other gear, I
have a Model 32 ASR that I'd like to foist off on to some poor
unsuspecting victim.
The machine is in "C+" condition and is untested - all of the parts seem
to be there, though. It has a rotary dial on the left of the pedestal, a
punch/reader, copy holder, and a roll of paper still in it. It is in need
of a bunch of long-winter-evening TLC or maybe it's the 'parts' machine
you've been looking for. I dunno - I just need the space for the three
28s, the Mailbox 15, the DEC LA36, etc etc...
The device is located in northeastern CA, 70 mi west of Reno, NV., in
the bustling metropolis of Quincy, if someone wants to come here and
rescue it. I paid money for it, since from the rear it looked like an
ASR33, so I'd like to get my $25 back at least.
It is reasonably shippable (especially if removed from the pedestal), by
FedEx or (shudder) UPS... hell, I think even the USPS would handle it...
I'll pack and ship for whatever it costs me to do so.
Just for info: This is the Baudot version of the 33, or rather the 33 is
the ASCII version of the 32... or something like that.
Respond off-list, please. Seller motivated. No reasonable offer laughed
at. Your mileage to Quincy may vary. Caveat Emptor. FOB. ABC, ETC....
Cheers
