I just made a discovery and ended up with 13 print hammers. One of my computer keyboards has on the bottom about 1/2" dia grey rubber plugs about 1/16 th inch thick or so that cover screw holes.Just popped one out and it was sticky on one side so I pressed it on my cleaned print hammer and have typed maney lines with it and it works perfect. Will have to glue it on better of course. The keyboard is a MAXI-SWITCH Model 2000. I have 5 diffrent keyboards and this one is the only one with rubber plugs and just happened to be the first one I looked at. Was really lookinf to see what type rubber feet it had, if any.I am now on the lookout for this type of keyboard as there must be thousands of them in the trash somewhere. In any case, Im happy to see this machine printing away again. Thanks all for all the input on this subject.Wayne WB0CTE
