I didn't realize that by asking the question on the print hammer that it was going to get this involved. One of the first suggestions was from Don Robert House on getting a small rubber bumper from the hardware store and just sticking it on.Well, I more or less did that, but found the rubber plug on the bottom of one of my computer keyboards as I think I said.Anyway, this seems to be a very simple and easy way to solve the problem rather than getting involved into engineering a factory duplicate.I have now run several hours of picture tapes (From David Freeman) on the machine with the stuck on bumper that is 1/16" more or less thick and it is working just fine. The 32 does not seem to care if the rubber is .2, .085, or 1/16" thick. Also, I cannot find any "hot oil" as such anywhere near my print hammer to cause the glue to not hold. Now on my Model 19 there is plenty of oil and grease all over everything, but my Model 32 is a very clean, dry, cool running machine. Of course if someone has the ability to fabricate a factory type replacement I'm sure it would make a much neater and more secure print hammer. Wayne WB0CTE
