Dial TWX,or TELEX II as WUT called it, used F1 and F2 frequency 
pairs.  These were model 28s, 33s, 35s and a few  M15s and M19s.. all 
had 101A, B, or C datasets (modems) on or in them.  The TELEX  or 
TELEX I machines were M32s... they used loop current, not Originate 
and Answer frequencies.

I once set a Bell System record for installing and testing 13 Model 
33ASR TWX machines in one long day.  Of course we later sold the 
whole system to Western Union under court orders from the federal 
government.
