Don and gang,

When I was hired as a TTY repairman by Ma Bell in
1970, I was given a real nice tool box (attache case type) and
lots of neat tools. I must admit, in the roughly 6 years that
I worked on TTY's (they were on the way out when I got
there), I never once used the spring scales. The spring
scales eventually sat in the bottom of my "installers tool box" (the big 
black fiberborad type); they're still there today!
