Hello Group,

I've been just lurking here, as I'm interested in RTTY. I was active on RTTY
in the late 60's with a Model 15, and a Northern Electric RTTY converter. I
ran RTTY mainly on 40 M, with a TCS transmitter I modified for FSK.
I'm getting back into it and as much time as my other "boatanchor"
restoration projects allow, I'll be setting up a couple of RTTY operating
positions. I have an M15 in need of cleaning and testing I got a few months
ago. Last weekend a 28 KSR with the TD/reperf units, and a 28 ASR followed
me home... I got all the original Teletype Corp. manuals for the 28 KSR.
These machines need cleaning, going over the wiring, etc before I even
attempt to turn them on.

I also have a fully equipped GRC-142 shelter (GRC-106 HF transceiver, MD-522
RTTY modem, military Kleinschmidt page printer, tape punch/reperf). The
machines there also need a bit of a cleaning, and some loop rewiring is in
order, as naturally the original crypto unit is missing so the machines are
not hooked up to anything.

In the meantime I'm just following all the threads with information
pertaining to these machines and as soon as any of these machines are
operational, I'll be on the air with it, looking for contacts.
