Yep, never have been able to read  that either.
Word wrap on that old 28 really does  suck.






Just so you know, there are two modifications that can be made to any M28  
that will effectively solve this problem. 
 
The first thing to do is to swap two universal code bars in the stunt  box.  
No new parts needed.  This provides the non-overline function (  but messes 
things up for RTTY Art that
uses overlining).
 
The second thing to do involves installing a mod kit and two universal code  
bars.  Typetronics had these parts the last time I checked.  This  provides 
for auto carriage return on character 73.
 
Both modifications can be made in an hour or so once you have all of the  
parts.
 
I have these two mods installed in my M28s.  You can work  anyone,  or copy 
anything on the air and never have a character pile  up at the end of the line 
or have a line overtyped. 
 
Word wrap - for a M 28!!!
