[GreenKeys] any good way to reel up printed paper?

Normally the paper winder (LPW) is mounted on the rear of the cabinet. it
is run by a small electric motor. the paper is tensioned by a paper bail
that has a mercury switch mounted on it to turn the motor on and off to take
up the slack. There is also another, older model (PW) that is a bit more
complex, and it also is mounted on the rear of the cabinet. I think I have
only the one I'm using, but I'll do a little spelunking in my garage to
confirm it. I gave away a lot of stuff some years ago. So don't hold out
any hope from here.
Good luck,
Gil, W1RG

Subject: [GreenKeys] any good way to reel up printed paper?
hello all. I've been having fun with my new 28KSR but the rtty contests
seem a little, shall we say, boring?
Any way, I've printed several feet of paper and have been letting it sorta
pile up behind the 28. I was wondering if there are "better" methods to have
the paper roll back up? I seem to recall some models that had a drum to roll
up the printed paper, but are there any stand alone take up drums that can
be mounted behind or beneath a 28 ksr?
thanks
Eugene
PS If anyone is interested, I've been studying for my technicians exam and
was ready to take the exam tonight! Then I realized I got my dates mixed up
and I missed the exam, it was saturday not sunday! Oh well, will try a VE
exam given at columbia university one evening. Will keep you posted
Eugene
