Ratts Net can be really enjoyable. It is LSB Mark low, 2125 with 170hz
shift. The biggest problems are the use of DIDDLE and indetermintate
line length. For those of us running REAL METAL, both of these can cause
great dismay. I will occasionaly print them, but I haven't participated
for quiate awhile.

A group called the North West Military Radio Enthusiasts (NWMRE) has
Clatternet on Saturdays. 0930 Pacific time on 7087 or so. We operate USB
Mark Low, 1575hz at 850hz shift. If you'd like to join us, shut off
DIDDLE and give us a solid CR/LF at around 62 characters! Most ops are
using PRC-47, GRC-106 w/ MD-522, Dovetrons, Teletypes, Kleinschmidts, etc.

We do have fun! I seems that when nets are difficult to participate in
(for whatever reason) it is easiest to just "roll your own" :-)
