There are a couple of different standards for 5 level gear.  
 
Telex had bell over J.  But 5 level TWX had bell as upper  J.  Private wire 
could be anything.
 
It really depends what option was selected when TT build the particular  
machine.  The nice thing is that it's pretty easy to change.  The bad  thing is 
that we seem to have diverged on the 5 level ham standard.
