Thanks for the interesting story, especially for those of us who were not 
part of those good old days of rtty.

But I wouldn't be too hard on HoffNet.  It may indeed be difficult to reach 
critical mass for a real radio net now, but I am encouraged about the 
internet stuff that George started.   It's just a different medium for 
transmission.  An interactive version, where we could log in (or telnet in 
or something), may indeed be able to emulate a radio network.  Maybe even 
using all the same selcal and autostart stuff defined for HoffNet 
previously.  Hmm...
