I'd like to thank everyone who replied to my questions concerning the Mite teleprinter.Every single post gave me some information I did  know.

The concensus seems to be the Mite is not the best choice as a main printer, it is too likely to need frequent adjustments. The one I have here certainly falls into that category.

Jack,  WA2HWJ had an excellent suggestion of getting a UGC-129 instead. I wasn't familiar with this machine, but looking over the Fair catalogue, it does seem able to fill the bill. It is also much more versatile than the Mite.

Anyone care to share their experiences with the UGC-129?
