More equipment from the K2AGI collection (I'm still
opening boxes):
1) Model 28 LRPE7 full chad (punched-thru holes) reperf, non-typing,
with code-reading contacts.
2) Model 28 LPR46BWA full chad typing reperf, code-reading contacts and
automatic LTRS feed out mechanism.
3) Model 28 LPR9AWA chadless typing reperf, backspace solenoid,
LTRS auto feed-out and electrical solenoid auto-feedout.
4) Model 28 LTP1ARC 3/8-inch tape printer with function box contacts.
All of the above units are suitable for mounting in a Model 28ROTR, "dome
ROTR" (the one that mounts in the Model 28ASR on top of the TD base),
or in a Model 28KTR (keyboard-tape machine). They do not have the
additional shaft to allow them to be used on a 28ASR keyboard.
These are "typing units" only, they do not include bases, covers,
gears, or motors.
All units appear to be at least 90% complete, with a spring or two missing,
etc
They are all being offered stricty AS-IS... They are fairly clean with no
rust.
The typing reperfs do not have the plastic platen hammer head (no
surprise); the typewheels look almost new.
The code-reading contacts are small gold-plated
leaf contacts which provide a parallel 5-bit code to the
unit's connector. There is also a "pulse" switch on each of these
units which I believe closes after the five-unit code is set up on the
leaf contacts. The auto LTRS feedout provides an adjustable
amount of LTRS feedout "tail" when incoming traffic stops. It
operates in a non-interfering manner...it immediately stops when
traffic restarts without loss of any characters. It can be disabled.
Each unit is $35.00, shipping included.
