Anyone who wants to acquire a Teletype needs to be persistent.  There 
are not many for sale these days, but they do keep showing up. 
Sometimes there are one or two on eBay, sometimes someone on this list 
finds one and announces it here.  Last year I heard one of the guys on a 
local repeater say he was moving and had a few machines to get rid of. 
A hamfest might have one or two.  It might be worth asking around at 
your local radio club.  Let people know you are interested.

There is no guarantee of one near you showing up soon.  You just have to 
keep watching if you are going to get the rare one that does happen to 
show up.
