Please send all to me.

I had fun yesterday, although I was a bit miffed that they did not let us
know that we would not be needed until the end of the day. Literally! As
soon as shooting was done, everyone disappeared. Everything went well. I was
disappointed that they did not want to shoot the teletype machine again, but
we are sending them a copy of the new message and a tape memento. Sandy was
great! We met lots of people. I learned quite a bit about the movie
business, and spoke to many people about the process.

I guessed what struck me most at first was how everybody looks at you when
you walk onto The Lot. They check you out to decide who you might be - an
actor, a producer, a new crew member? I found it very funny. It makes you
want to fool everybody.

Since we had plenty of time, we poked our heads into different buildings and
got to see the set they were using for Garfield 2. They had lots of flowers
and the whole building smelled wonderful. People were so nice, laid back,
helpful, not at all bothered by our being there.

Did David send you a copy of the pictures we took of each other on the sets?

My best to Glenna!

Faye

If anyone would like a copy (JPEG image) of the two page article on

Flags of our Fathers (and it's sequel), reply directly to me. This

is the movie where our museum provided the Teletype and Facsimile

Machine and I "starred" (tee hee) as the Teletype Operator...

All the best,

Don

If you want an image of me in costume you will have to specify in

your reply.
