Gil,
Probably all newer tape printers used the 1/2 inch tape. Certainly no
larger than 11/16.
Jack Hart may have some input based on the machines he saw in
Patterson, NJ.

My memory is slipping. The museum has a M35KTP cabinet that has a
tape holder for 7/8 to 1 inch tape but no mechanism.
Perhaps it was for a M35 KTR and not a KTP.
Not sure.

if that is the one that i donated i am pretty sure it uses tape
smaller than 11/16".
