Hi folks:

A short summary on the tape printer survey:

1)  No Morkrum-branded M14-TP units reported.

2)  Model 14 Tape Printer  (Teletype Corp. mfg)
       TWX switchboards, weather, and telco use
       Used 3/8" tape
       None known, but maybe some still around

3) Western Union Simplex Printer 2-B  (Morkrum-Kleinschmidt mfg)
       The famous machine for printing gummed-strip telegrams
       Used 5/16" tape (usually gummed)
       Several known;  probably dozens still around, but no tape avail

4) Western Union Simplex Printer 2-B  (Teletype mfg)
       Used 5/16" tape (usually gummed)
       One known

5)  Teletype Corp. Model 31
       Used 3/8" tape
       Two known

6)  Military version of the Model 31
       Used 3/8" tape, 115VAC (or 28VDC?)
       Two known

7)  Western Union version of the model 31
       Used 5/16" tape(usually gummed)
       Two known

8)  Teletype Corp. Model 28 Tape Printer
       Was to replace the model 14 tape printer.
       Based on mechanism of M28 typing reperf.
       Used 3/8" tape
       One known

9)  Teletype model 400 (401?) Ticker
       Also known as the Western Union model 5A
       Used 1/2" (3/4"?) tape
       Two known

10)  Teletype model 900 High-Speed Ticker
       Used 3/4" (1"?) tape
