[GreenKeys] Dovetron Tempest RTTY Terminal Unit MPC-1000T

I was wondering if any one could let me know if this would be a good unit to 
buy to hook up to a teletype machine
to receive rtty. I have a Flesher Corporation TU-300 that I am currently 
trying to get adjusted. So far I have tried to get
RY RY and keep getting TTTT. The up side is that I finally got one of these 
to peck out something. So I look at this a
 positive thing. I have read that some are using Dovetron units but I do not 
know what the difference in them are. I
am waiting on a couple of books and have read some of the manuals that I 
have but they do not cover this.
Any help for a newbie will be appreciated.
