I've only metal gear shifts here and that was what I was thinking about  when 
I wrote my note.
 
My "training" was to be very careful with the three speed gear shifts and  
therefore I've tried to pass that information along.
 
Yes, it would be great to have a location to store the various information  
about Teletype gear shifts. I can supply pictures of my metal gear shift  for a 
KSR.  I also have a copy of Specification 5948S.
