[GreenKeys] Not exactly the amateur spirit

I guess I was born in the wrong century, as my exclusive enjoyment of CW
QSO's has been to pull the very distant cw signal out of the muck, and make sense
out of it.... Regardless of the QRM etc.

That is why we have CW, it is the most QRM proof form of communication. I
could give a hoot less about RTTY bombing the CW i am trying to copy. My
major gripe is those damn phone contestants running other phone people off the
band, cause we (the rag chewers) are not participating in the contest of the
moment.

Some of the best moments have come to me in a cw QSO, the other guy all the
way around the world, your both running 5 watts, and you and he can pull each
other out of the qrm with narrow filtration, and good mental filtration, and
you do it for a few paragraphs back and forth... it doesn't get any better
than that, let me tell you.

I think my next move on phone is crystal controlled, am on 160, or 75, or 40,
when the band is in. And yes, I will run the full output...
