William Perry is likely to have the needed connector. (I have no idea what the
connector is.)

ONLY if it is a governed motor. And even then it might burn up. Normally, iron
things with windings meant for 400 cycles are roughly one third or less the
size of the equivalent item for 60 cycles, and will not stand running on the
lower frequency.
Example: I have a 400 cycle Variad rated at 10 amps or so. I can run it on 12-18
volts 60 cycles just fine, and I may well do that for a moderate current DC
supply, but it will make smoke at 120 volts 60 cycles (or more likely blow the
circuit breaker). 60/400 x 120 = 18 18 volts AC RMS with the overvoltage
capability of the variac used makes some 21 volts ac. A bridge rectifier will
get you some 28-29 volts DC. This is all approximate and does not take into
account diode drops and the like.
