Broadcast News the radio wire in canada ran at 60 wpm until the mid 70's
and switched to 67 wpm until the early 80's when they went to 100wpm and
changed most of their printers from teletype to Extel.
The newspaper wires were 6 level baudot and printed small and capital
characters. Their speed I was told was about 67 wpm.
