I had a query recently from a BARTG member who has a Creed 444, which is
a 50 Baud machine with a synchronous motor. He was proposing modifying a
commercial 12v to mains inverter to adjust the frequency. I thought a
solution in logic or using a PIC processor would be a better bet.
A solution much as you propose would be very welcome to other
Greenkeyers- especially those with ex-telex machines. If the project
proves a success, could you put the design on Gil's 'onlinefilefolder'
please so that others can share it?
Cheers,
Sam
