Thanks Scott,

I spoke to Tony Snider at length last night.  I think I have been  
taken to the cleaners by the seller.  I may try to sell the pair or  
merely use it as a receiver to remind me of my failure to properly  
research before buying this stuff.  At any rate I would be happy to  
pay you for loaning me Volume 2 so I can copy it.

bear, and was really only designed for standby use.  It is by no  
means a FSK capable amp.  It would be better to drive a RF-110A, or  
even a AM-3349/GRC-106.  I have one of the se rigs, and I BABY it.   
The 8117 final is nearly unobtainable, and will set you back $150- 
$200 if you can find one.  It is still fun, though!
