Whoopee!  I got the "timing" belts today and started to play with the 129. 
Of course a new ribbon for starters.

Getting the head back in sync with the stepper motor took about 15 
minutes...had to figure out the fine adjustments.  Pushing the "Control" key 
brought up some functions and it prints little commands or 
statements..."Memory Clear" for example.

I haven't been able to type locally yet.  Too, I don't have it connected to 
Mil-188...but I doubt that has anything to do with local typing.  Maybe I 
don't have switches on the P.C.'s set correctly....all in good time.

I'll need to set her for 45.5 and such minor details :>)  No books yet 
but.........

Got some extra belts.  Thanks to all for the belt information...it really 
helped.
