For what it's worth, the Clatternet crew on the West Coast has been 
850Hz (due to Military gear) for quite a few years. The tests done at 
85Hz proved to provide better print however. This is on 80M & 30M 
between stations in WA, OR and Northern CA.

I have copied a few Euro weather stations at 425Hz shift over the years, 
but mostly 850Hz, and 170Hz/200Hz. It seems to me that at least with our 
'shift-play', selective fading was greatly minimized using 85Hz.
