In one of the old Navy books I have (Electronics Technician 3 & 2; 1968
they have a brief description and a simplified (one-channel) schematic
to the SG-1203 / 1210 /UG panels. At the end of the section it says:
"The TT-23 / SG (not shown) is the forerunner of the panels just
described. It has one less horizontal row of jacks than the newer panels
and, has a toggle switch incorporated in each channel. The purpose of
the switch is to provide a means of disconnecting the local d-c supply
when the necessary current is supplied by another source. Except for
these differences the TT-23 S/G performs the same function and is
operated the same as the other panels."
