I had a old TG-7B, back in the 1960s and it
had a safety glass window.

I seem to recall the AP was replacing them with beveled
plastic.  The M-15 window was perfect for tearing off the
wire copy.

Pop the "door" open and cut up the news on the back side
of the "glass," for truly rip and read news.
