Actually, Jason was a Vulcan (AR 5) class general repair ship (AR) not a 
submarine tender (AS).

Jason was decommissioned in 1995 - so she could have tty gear from model 
28s forward--  Generally - the radio room in this class ship was just 
aft of the bridge, usually behind CIC and / or nav.  I've not been 
aboard Jason, nor do I have much info on ARs - so I'm not familiar with 
what gear she had at decom.

You'll be mostly interested in the "IC" spaces and shop...  hopefully 
someone familiar with that specific ship's layout can point you in the 
right direction.

Since you'll possibly pass my old ship - USS Proteus AS 19 - she's the 
ship next to the Iowa (BB 61) - you might salute her for me...
