[GreenKeys] Why Dual Coil Electromagnets?

Bill,

I have 5 of them around my house.  They're tied into a WECo 17A  relay the 
sends 6 volts to the hourly reset coils keyed by an ESE 180A master clock.

I use the 2 D cells too...in a Radio Shack holder.....so far they've been 
running over 2 years!!! for the rewind coil.
