[GreenKeys] Long lost RTTY student returns to the site. But what is a CHZ-60170 ??

Hello all: 

I am learning after just two years as a ham that you can't do everything all 
the time.  But just the other day while I was at the recycle dump in Yucca 
Valley Cal. I picked up a complete Johnson Viking II and a ??? Navy Type  
CHZ-60170 RF Model OCT-3 ???? which is complete and appears to be working but what is 
it?
Maybe I should take it back to the recycler.
