As Peter said, I also gave up on Radio Shack years ago for parts. I usually
go to enough Hamfests during the year to stock up on small parts. There you
can look over the parts and seperate out the poor quality items. I have
also bought some small parts off ebay that seem ok, especially if the name
of the manufactor is given.
