[GreenKeys] Model 15 motor

Howdy Folks,

Need some advice....my Model 15 (RCA Telex machine) motor gear is not 
meshing enuf with the driven gear.  There is a screw adjustment on the 
motor's platform that allows the back of the motor to be raised up or 
down....thus raising the front of the motor (gear end) if the back goes 
down.

Is lowering the back of the motor the way to get more meshing of the gears 
or, are there supposed to be shims under the front of the motor mount plate 
to raise the motor up for more complete meshing?

Any and all advice is appreciated.
